Title: Another coolant light issue :)

Sinse ive had my golf (2 months) my coolant light would flicker on and off every now and then .. Starting from today its on as soon as i start the car from cold and even stayed on earliar after i took tge key out the ignition ???? Have done all checks and everything seems fine fans cut in ect also had a new rad no leaks ... Could it be my water pump on its way out as well ? Thanks jimmy :)

It stayed on after you took the key out? Sounds like electrical gremlins to me.

Yep it stayed on had to disconect battery to make it go out .. It does need the wireing looked at on my car

Wiring fault.  Most likely an earthing problem

Ok thank guys will get some one to have a look over it for me electrics not my department
