When i was young 8/9 i had chronic tooth ach, which resl*ted in a tooth out, whilst still awake!
from then on! i was petrofied of the dentist!
only these last few years iv been ok, and even had a filling!
when i was 13 the dentist said i should have braces as a few teeth was out of line, but really refused! which im kicking now!
im 21, is this something i could get on the NHS? or would i need to pay for my self?
any one had braces at a later age?

I had them at 21. Get them while youre still young! will cost a lot but will be worth it

Seriously paying for the amount of pain they bring. I only had them for about 6 months and it was hell!
-
Never too old! I worked with a hottie that had a mouth like Alex said, a packet of broken biscuits and for the last 2 years she's had braces and her mouth is looking much better, sorted her teeth out properly - she's 31 now
Had "train tracks" when I was 13, I had a cross AND over bite oh and a f**cking head brace to push my teeth back, which I was meant to wear 24/7 :lipsrsealed: only wore it at night and in the morning my teeth hurt like hell from being pushed back all night, I had monthly check-ups too
-
had braces for a year and 3 months, hurt alot for 10 of those 13 months but 100% worth it. definetly go for it the results are so worth it.
-
the worst bit was going back to the dentist's to have them re-tightened, worth it afterwards though.
-
I had braces when I was younger too, and they hurt like f**k! It's not a sharp pain, is just constant pain.
-
My mates Mrs has had braces fitted privately and she's 33. She's been wearing them over a year now.
Cost....... £ 3,000 (double ouch)
