Just had my coilpacks replaced FOC with my local VW stealers, and now I have two codes showing up, 16684 and 16687!!
Does this mean that the coils they put in are faulty? :undecided:

Just clear them and see if they come back, they wont have cleared them is all

Both codes relate to misfires. Is the car driving okay? You'd notice a misfire fairly quickly. If the car is driving okay, clear the codes and see what happens. If not, possibly a faulty coilpack in cylinder 3.

OK, thanks guy, will clear the codes and see what happens. But, what I did do was put in the old coil packs that I replaced myself before I took it to them this morning, and in the lower gears it did seem quite a bit more responsive and quicker , but once up to 60-70 mph I would feel it hold back and judder a bit, and now I have new coils in it does not judder, but does not feel as quick!
So now I have new coils in and a spare set that I replaced my self a while ago, but it definitely felt more responsive mainly in lower gears with the faulty coil packs in !!!
