Hi, I have 15 days parking at airport next month. I dont want my battery to go dead. i have a mk4 golf. will it be okay or will i need to disconnect the battery.
thanks in advance

should be fine i have left mine a month an still started
-
depends on the condition of the battery to be honest, I can leave mine a week and it takes 2 turns to fire up, that being said I have had the car on 3-4 years and not replaced the battery
-
i hade the car off road for a year and the battery went flat. had it out for 5 weeks now done 500miles. seem fine, but i'm not sure about leaving it for 2 weeks
-
It charged ok after that time? are you using it daily now or whats the longest you've left it so far in the 5weeks? its hard to say really.. pop local garage for battery test? or take a chance it will be ok I guess.

I went away in army left my car for about 3months came back to camp the car fired up fine.
I did leave the handbrake on though  funny trying to pull off lmao

It will / should be fine, have left many cars for around 14 days all ok.
