Title: Will this cable work with VAGCOM?

I acquired vagcom. The file name of the download is "VCDS_lite_100_full_(larsen)". Vagcom for Windows 7.

I also acquired the one for WinXP, though our WinXP laptop has now blown.

Was told we just need the vagcom cable on eBay for about £7, so purchased this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130713684408?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3424wt_961

Just wanting to double check whether or not it should work with the program i acquired?

That cable will not work with VCDS, I think VCDS now only works with authentic rosscom devices.

The cable will probably work with VAGCOM but these quite often are not the very best in terms of timing (resulting in comms issues).
VAGCOM does not run on my 64 bit Win7, maybe it will on 32... not sure, check ross tech faq
