Hi guys,
I'm currently building up a collection of parts to convert an AGU to K04 before fitting it to my mark2 GTi.
Have a couple of questions though, first off I will be keeping the 8v lift pump, but what high pressure inline pump shall I use? I've got my eye on a walbro 225. Is the 8v lift pump up to the job?
Secondly, will the jetex 2.5" exhaust be ok for a K04? I wanted a single box but nobody sells one that will fit a mk2.
Lastly will a standard mk4 toyosport ic be large enough for a k04 at full chat?
Thanks all.

Not sure on a direct answer for the fuel pump, but the walbro 225/255's seem to be always used even when k03/s users up to a k04 or max out the k03s setup in an inline configuration whilst using the stock pump as a pickup, so I'd imagine its something required especially for that power.
2.5" will be more than adequate in exhaust department.
I'd say yes to the toyosport FMIC, as the k04 is still 2" outlet from memory and I have seen one on my mates s3 running alot better with no issues so far opposed to the stock twin SMIC setup.

Excellent, so the fmic and exhaust sound good.
Shame the jetex is so quiet but that's probably good as this is a sleeper project.
Anyone know more on the fuel pump situation?

Iv been told that a lcr fuel pump works the same as a walbro and it's a direct fit
-
It doesn't flow as much as the Walbro but it's enough for the K04, after all the Leon/S3/TT owners run them with bigger power than us before changing them

the pump from a AUQ leon cupra is 4bar as well
-
Get a 255lph fuel pump to make sure it copes with the fuel demand for the k04, most people use walbro.

or the walbro in tank one which you can fit its quite easy and there is a guide on here somewhere.

Well for £70 get a walbro that's all I need for my k04 on a Aum then fit them all and off to Rtech here I go

Or left stock pump in and went inline and used stock setup as pickup

Not my car anymore. :undecided:

So I. Got to get a inner walbro and that's it??

Ok so fitting a walbro after the mk2 8v In Tank pump should be fine.
Glad to hear it. I will prob fit the pump in the boot or under the car.
