I know there is a seperate area for one of these but non seem to be arranging for meets for Mk6 owners? Just fancy coming to some shows and stuff, take its best just to keep an eye on that one to see who is going??

This forum has far too many areas to check on!!

I think it'd be a bit wierd having a single mk meet tbh, i'm going to start going to more events i think, it's good to put a few faces to names.

I'm a member on there but don't go on very often (ever in fact) some great knowledge over there but a few have a reputation for being up their own @rse! :grin:

Just keep an eye on the shows and meets thread on a few forums and go to what you fancy.

i think single model are ok as long as you pick a decent place to go

i go to a Thames Valley mk5 meet where we have a meal and we get 10-20 most months as its more about the banter than the cars, that said getting 20 scirocco owners to a meet was like pulling teeth

best rocco meet i went to was at gaydon as there is something to do there and in reality i fancy a meet at the donnington collection

i don't do many shows as hate parking in a field with BVF being my next appearance as they need so water cooled content for the VWOCGB display

Used to go to all sorts of meets with old Honda clubs, and JAE each year was great from which I have made some decent friends aside from the at scene.

Would be keen to get to some local meets :cool:

I've let this thread run for a while.
I understand the original thread posters reason for it been here.
As a mk1 owner I go to mk1 oc meetings as I have no interest in mk3 or 4s and little with the 2s.

But as I received a complaint about this thread could i redirect people interested in a mk6 meet to the meet section of the forum.
