Title: Its gone :-(
Post by: G6dub on 18 June 2005, 14:18: As some of you know a few times this year I have had offers for my car and in the past have never said I wouldn't sell it...... but with the problems time etc.... I decided to let someone come down and look at it, and today I let it go Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â :sad: I feel quite sad about it (silly I know it is only a car)
But who would say no if some one offered over 10k for a 89 car?

Yes I know I won't ever get one again, but been thinking about that and well at least I can say I have been there & had that? twice even so not all that bad I guess.

P.S Gibby sorry you had better eat the Milky bars Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â :wink:

Hope it went to a good home, unfortunately it's not mine but hope the person who's bought it treats it nicely and also uses it. I hate the idea of cars being bought for collections and not used! :angry:

Keep with the Golf, Mk4 1.8T would be a good choice.

Shame you sold it but 10k for an '89 isn't bad is it ! As the saying goes, it's better to have loved and lost and all that so I'm sure it was the right decision. Now go buy an S3 ! :grin:
