i have an itch that just has to be itched! used to play lots of forza 3 but sold it as thought i was done gaming forever, but i've been wanting to play it so bad so i've decided i'm going to get one end of this month/beginning of next month?
what sort of price should i pay for a 4 gig slim? i don't want risk of rrod and slim appears more reliable.
probably going to buy used to save myself a lot of money, good idea?

I would recommend AVForums, I would never buy a console off ebay etc too risky. As for price one recently sold on there for £85 delivered so might be worth registering if you're not on there already?

if youve got the money i would look for a deal on a new one, all old machines have their flaws, ive got the "elite" 250gb a few months after it came out (RROD on my original )
anyway when i got it was silent, now the disc drive is terribly noisy, couldnt watch a film on it, fortunately once a game is installed it doesnt run from the disc or something, and its ok then

right i'll take a look on AVForums
cheers for the heads up but the money for a new console is ridiculous!

for anyone else asking the question i just ordered a 4gb xbox slim for £89 from gamestation and forza 4 for £16 (both preowned) best deal i could find, not even as good as on eBay and a 12 month warranty!

Im sure you cant install the 2nd disc as its about 3.6gig?
Just bought a 120gig xbox just to play forza4 it best be bloody good
