cam belt tensioner?

when you say a really bad noise, is it like a deffning screaming noise or just a squeel

thx for the reply guys , i have been doing some research and found a diagram on here and seems like the sound is just coming from behind the Aux pulley and the sound seems like it could be the bearing behind it , sounds like its a grinding metal noise but i just find it weird how it stops after 5 mins of the engine running.

ive noticed when i squeeze the belt i can see some slight movement in the aux pulley, could this be the bearing? if so can i order this seperately or do i have to get the aux kit ? or will it come with the timebelt kit? any help appreciated.

just an update, i fitted new cambelt and tensioner , waterpump , aux belt and power steering belt , low and behold the engine noise has finally gone it turned out to be the waterpump :D so happy days. The engine is running sweet as a nut now . Just need to do n/s/f wheel bearing and do the gear shift repair kit to sort out all my sloppy gears then thats the car fully sorted.
