Title: short shifter

Hi,

Does a quick / short shifter exist for the pre 2000 5 speed gearbox (with the black counter weight). My car is a 1999 AGN 1.8 20V N/A.

Ive searched around a bit but they all seem for the 2000 and later boxes (chrome shift weight).

Yes the audi tt one fits the 5 speeds.

I may get one for mine, i think this mod slipped my mind..

Not if it's the mk3 style shifter

is the audi tt the same in the fact there are early (pre 2000) and late (post 2000) boxes?

You need to post a pic of your shifter to see if it will work

TT one will fit 5 speed from memory.

Not all 5 speeds. Especially if the car is early.
