can anyone help please what size front discs are on a 20l 8v gti mk3  R reg as there seem to be a few sizes and need to order the right size

R reg should be 288mm

famous words... should and vw can be rather optimistic, but as wayne said 288mm is the correct late 95 onward fitment

Thanks for the info and is there only one set of pads that will fit the 288 mm discs or lots of types and does anyone know a good place to get them as a kit just standard replacements .

Go on EuroCarParts website and enter your reg number and they will come up and if you search this forum there is a 25% discount code. Reserve them at your local branch then go and collect. Really easy.
