Title: Location to weld in flexible exhaust?

Fitting a fall system soon, manifold to backbox. So I need to put in a flexible join to stop the manifold cracking.

So do I cut a section out the manifold and weld it in? Or do I cut and weld the de-cat? I don't want it flexing and banging on the tunnel.

Also what length? 150mm or 200mm and I'm right in thinking 2.25" 57mm?

I'd always tend to weld them about 3-6 inches after the manifold comes into one a longer flexi will allow more flex but will be slightly weaker but if ur engine mounts are okay then ul be fine
