hi all, i first joined this forum about a year ago and after a month of joining i sold my golf so never had any reason to use the site.

anways.. im from swindon in witshire and am currently looking for a mk 1 gti. can anyone give me any buying advise as im not really up to scratch on the dubs.

As for buying a mk1, look at this thread -->  http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=18122.0 I know it's for a cabby but some of it will apply to a tintop. Also, if you look at that thread and go to richandhazels post, you'll see another link to the matey-matey guide which is also a good one.  :smiley:
