Title: Conflicting info regards what you need......
Post by: Dalo Harkin on 09 July 2012, 19:22
Hi all,

Currently running a stage 1 carbon remap on everything in my signature.

Am going to be running in the next month or so the following:-
K03s with forge actuator
THS FMIC
Creation Motorsports TIP
Catch Can

Now the conflicting part do I go S3 injectors (engine is ARZ so SAAB and Calibra ones won't do) and 3" MAF?
been told standard injectors and MAF are fine, but to replace the fuel pump as my car has done 132,000

Trying to get as much as I can out of the MAP to achieve 250bhp+

Nah it can be done mate,
A nice healthy engine with good hardware will achieve 250 plus with correct mods.

See Chris's build thread he managed it with good mods

I bet it could have made 250bhp on r-tech rollers.

Water meth on aswell would have easily pissed 250bhp.

Surely all rollers should be the same?  :undecided:

should be but they aint some give a lot more than what the car actually is and some give less in theory its not always as accurate as we like to think

dont ask me the technical bit of why and what cos my brain didnt absorb that part

Interestingness...I wonder why though. I understand differences in tolerances but surely they wouldn't be like 10/20 hp difference could there?

R-tech rollers are meant to be quite accurate.

Willy waving competitions can be had on the dyno dynamics ones locked in shootout mode.

heres the only graph i had of mine on them rollers - when it was playing up in limp mode.

When you look at what boost it was pushing...

Madness.

I always gauge my readings by JKMs rollers. I had a 2bhp difference between the R-Tech and JKM rollers after fitting a sports cat instead of a decat and also my FMIC over a SMIC so I would say they are accurate
