Right so as mentioned before, i am new to this, and this is my first attempted of working on a car! i am after a Vento front end, and was just wandering how easy they are to come across? and if it is a easy DIY job?

Easy job just use the search and loads will come up, finding one depends on where you are I suppose

i found it easyer to find the bits seperately .
i got a bonnet fro a vw breakers for £50
headlights from ebay £20
and there is loads of vento grills on ebay all the time.

i just got one my self an only payed £90 for it. do some shopping about first mate as u will find one cheaper. is easy job as well.  :cool:

complete end mate bonnet grill an lights. lad had it up for £120 but offered him £90 an got it.

Just picked one up this weekend and now fitted to my Cabrio, they look sweet when fitted and only some screws and 13mm to fit. Easy :wink:

have a look on swapz web site as there was a couple on there last week. wish i seen it befor as one is same colour as my car so would not have need to spray it lol.

Haha, at least your grille matches your bonnet, I've got 3 of the 4 Harlequin colours on the go. Blue body, Red hood and yellow bonnet. Just need something green, grey primer coming soon :wink:

I'm not a big fan of Vento fronts. Look good on some cars, but over done now IMHO

i do love the vento front but only with early or mid grill. not a fan of the late grills.

When it comes to Vento fronted Golfs I've gotta say Gashleys does take some beating although those friggin fogs need sorting in that particular picture above.
