Title: brake disc width!

Guys i need some help!

My golf has hi spec billet 4's running 280mm solid discs that are 24mm width!

What size was the standard 2.0 gti 280mm disc?

Hi spec want silly money for pads and discs! the pads alone are £110

You may find the disc offset is different.

standard 280s are 20mm wide.

i might just the hi specs off and put some 288's on!

Bud i have just priced up new pads, discs and hoses (seeing as the hi spec braided one has failed an pierced the hose!) they want £316!

And £180 of that is for a pair of 280mm 24mm width discs! not even vw items :(
