Title: maf diameter

hi everyone ordering myself a jetex airfilter in the morning and need to no the diameter of the maf as im not 100%

Outer is 70mm, inner 63mm.

I run an 80mm jetex with an 80-70mm silicone reducer  :wink:

(Just incase you ever want a K04)

If you going to stick just a cone filter on the end of the maf it is worth fitting the metal surround as well, I did try it on mine for a few days and it was way too loud.

cheer mate iv got one of them heatshields ready to go on when the cone is here, when u used the reducer how did you attach the cone to the silicone reducer just use a 80mm diameter piece of plastic?

I never ran a reducer, just the correct size cone filter to fit direct to the maf.

Yeah an 80mm metal sleeve. I'll try and sort the eBay item numbers later if you like.

I was planning on going k04 which is why I did it. Youd probably be better saving the grief and just getting the 70mm.

yer that would be spot on mate if you could, i was looking to go k04 eventually and the money saved from gettin a new filter is a help really
