Anyone know where i can find my paint code as i cant find it?

I looked in the spare wheel well and still coudnt find the paint code.Any where else i could find it?Its a colour concept in Met Black if that helps,just in case anyone knows the paint code,that is if all met black colour concepts are the same code.Ta

There should be a sticker stuck to the body under the boot carpet. If it helps there are only 2 metallic colours on the mk3 which are LC97 black magic and LA9V brilliant black

On mine there is a sticker just to the right hand side or the spare wheel.

I don't think it's on the vin plate. Ring a VW dealer with your reg and they can give you the colour code.

lc9z is metallic black (also known as black magic pearl)

luckily vw only did 1 metallic black on the mk3

My mk2 is LA9V, brilliant black, and it is indeed metallic.

LO41 Schwarz (a cost option therefore rare as metallic was same cost!)
