personally think it looks terible, and just seems like an expensive way to do nothing to your car.

with all this rain we are having i would stick to having two myself might come in handy, must admit ive had the single wiper conversion on a few cars and have quite liked it but i think it looks better on some cars but not others, had it on my fiesta rs turbo and my series 1 rs turbo both looked good and think it would suit the golf seems to look better on hatchbacks and saves on buying 2 wipers.

I had a single wiper on the Escort, was a complete PITA. Would never sit dead centre and was a distraction when driving, also I had to adjust it to sit on the bottom of the screen on every MOT.... It took twice as long to clear the windscreen in the rain so I always had it on full speed

mine ended up breaking on me in the rain as it was one someone had made and not very well sadly, was really lashing down and had a nasty drive home with my face plastered against the window as rain would not ease up and i got so bored decided to chance the short journey home, i could see but it was like driving a motorbike with rain in front of you ended up fixing the wiper mech properly in the end its suprising the bodges you find when buy another car i think thats why i always buy standard and do myself at least you know where you stand, had one car fitted with 4 sets of radio wires and was a fire waiting to happen chopped them all out and started again and some were bare very scary stuff would love to own my series 1 escort now one car i really miss and would be worth around £10,000 in todays money why did i get the bike bug.
