I don't see why not, I was only pulling your leg as I have the Venom  TBH I think it is swings and roundabouts when it comes to cold air induction kits. Many just keep the standard air box with a panel filter, like a pipercross one or another. While others prefer the noise of an open cone filter
The Venom is supposed to of had 4-5 bhp increase at tests done at R-Tech. There is a review on the forum somewhere about it.

The first thing I sold off my Golf when I got it. It just wasn't for me. I opted for standard airbox and performance panel filter.
I also sold it for a LOT less than that

is there any point in an induction kit? i mean, the more cold air pumped into the engine the more fuel you'll be burning? well thats how i understand it, i know cold air is good for the engine etc but is there anymore BHP gains or anything?

Think you need to try the search bar also!! Rtech has came out with some interesting results when it comes to tweaking with air intake....
