Having bought my pcd adapters to fit Porsche wheels, I have realised now,
I dont have the necessary studs...
The adapter bolts to the hub,m14 bolts (supplied)
However, I don't have the studs to bolt the wheels to the adapter...m12x??
The original supplier of my adapter (R-Tec) can supply them for £30,is this reasonable?
The local haldfrauds was no help at all.
Any help is welcome

If so then yes I guess £30 is reasonable for 20 bolts...Just over a quid each :nerd:

I was under the impression the adapters required stud instead of bolts?
I'll upload a picture in 5 mins

Outer holes are clearly m12 but insure if 1.25 or smaller :-/

Porsche wheels will need genuine bolts from memory.
-
Porsche bolts are m14x1.5 way to big...
Nipped to a local Audi specialists, they had a bolt that gripped 4 threads but no further :-/
-
Well you need to confirm what taper they need to be as a start, I am guessing radius so mabe look at mk3 Golf 4stud bolts.
-
Porsche wheels are normally held on with Alloy nuts, aren't they?

Worth a try, luckily a day off work tomorrow so plenty time to look around
Also the option of having studs made locally.
I am determined to get the wheels on!!
-
Just to clear one point up you need to confirm 100% what taper seat the bolts / nuts need to be or you run the risk of the wheels coming loose.

Mk2/3 etc, 4x100 bolts fit perfectly.

Are they the correct fit for the wheels :undecided:

The garage I found father/son VW lovers, both ran the same set up faultlessly for years.
I've bolts the adapter onto the wheel and it all felt solid...there's no movement at all.
I suppose time will tell,I am more than confident its sorted

Rounded bolt....about to set fire to the car hahaha
16mm bit and a hammer may have to he used..
Previous owner dare i say it....female. Has abused the bolt heads beyond my imagination.
