just a quick one, want to do some colour work on the golf in black but which is the nicest VW colour of black to go with my jazz blue? want one that looks good polished up
cheers n gone

LC9Z-black magic, but thats me being biased
-
depends what your doing
oh what you painting then
-
:lipsrsealed: secret
nah just a few things, grill, lower grills on the front bumper (already kinda black but thats the plastic) etc.
want an OEM/VW colour so I can just buy black mirrors without having to paint them myself
EDIT: my motivation ----> http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/290159.aspx?PageIndex=1

Black magic isn't very reflective. Lo41 polished up gives a nice deep shine. Very reflective as its metallic.
-
that your colour? looks  in your signature, pretty much exactly what I'm looking for
now to find some mirrors in that colour
EDIT: does it have a name?
-
I just got some Halfords metallic black to do my grills etc, worked a treat
-
yeah but I dont fancy my painting skills to do the curve and stuff on the mirrors hence why buying an OEM coloured mirror and then have to get paint to match up for the grills
straight lines on the grill I can paint
-
i done all my interior handles and covers under the bonnet in gloss black from my local car shop and its shiny as fook

Good thread to read

aaaahhhh your making me think screw it have a crack at painting the mirrors myself :undecided:
reckon i'll have to sand the grills before spraying or just crack on some plastic lacquer?
