Guys,
Excuse the stupid question, but it has to be asked since I don't yet have my new Golf! :embarassed:
The dealer says the new car will be supplied with 10 litres of petrol (TSI 122 'Match') but I wondered how much does 10 litres get you in the Golf assuming it's being filled up from the red light?
Is 10 litres i.e. 1/8th of a tank or 1/4 of a tank?
Cheers

At a guess I wud think around the 80miles mark, can't say I've ever stuck £12 or so quids in....
-
The tank holds 55 litres IIRC
I thought VW supplied the car from new with half a tank ??
-
If you look on the VW website at the spec of your car you should be able to work it out. 10 litres sounds stingy to me as I normally get a full tank.

According to my dealer you get 20 litres..........
I made sure that I am getting a full tank

Did you not push for a full tank as the clincher for the deal? Tut tut.

Tell them the deal is off unless you get a full tank with mats of course

10 litres is nearly a 5th of a tank. (tank size is 55litres) expect to get around 70-80 miles on a brand new engine with that in a 122 at a guess.

2.2 gallons approximately

Tell the dealer you won't give him a good score in the VW Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire unless you get a full tank
-
That usually works ; (
