As topic say's the car turns over but won't start, this has been happening over the last few weeks & maybe not started about 6 times.car will start first turn in the morning then when u go back to start it just turns over, sounds as if no fuel is getting through. Also had the injector recall a few weeks ago this is probably when it all started.anyone else had this problem.
-
Does it only fail to start if the car is up to temperature? i.e. you drive it for a few minutes or more then stop then try to start?
-
Yeh rhyso but just drove a 200 mile round trip on sat with no probs, but your right it will only happen after you've started it drove then tried 2 start it again.

I know a bloke with a Passat who had a similar problem; had to wait for the car to cool down
Think it was the cam position sensor that was at fault :undecided:

Rhyso u were right cam position sensor,vw want £540 to fix.Is this fault comming up due to the timing belt just being changed.

Find an independent who can correctly read any fault codes.
