Does anyone know why these wouldnt fit the GTI? Im trying to look for the front ones similar to Neil GTI's ones? Does anyone happen to know the part number?
Cheers

Have you asked what price ya dealer would do them for fitted, cant be much more?
-
the fronts are all the same but the rears need to be GTI specific as its a different bumper
-
As said, the GTI has a different rear bumper, and the R/35 have Blue Motion side skirts. From memory, I paid around £60 for my standard ones from TPS. I can't see why GTI ones would be any more money.
Fitting them is a doddle, just take the wheels off to get better screwdriver access.
-
I dont want the rears, just the fronts to try and stop the stone chips down the side of the car.
-
They'll be fine then, but why not just buy a pair of fronts from TPS?
-
Excuse my ignorance but whats TPS?? Only just new to forum!!

They all have a cash sales counter.
-
Cheers, might have to give them a ring tomorrow and go for a little trip.
Do they come as a full set or will you be able to just buy the fronts??
-
They come in pairs.

They come in pairs.
Can you just buy the front pair only though??

i got genuine new ones off some vw dealer on ebay. they were around £60 i think.
they definitely work and i would recommend fitting them. i fitted just the fronts. i don't like the look of the rear ones but the fronts are pretty subtle IMO.

It was late and I was tired, cheers

Do you happen to know the ED35 part number for the front flaps? I've been trying to find them but the spare parts guys at VW here (not UK) can't find anything on the ED35.
-
can't get them for the ed35.

can't get them for the ed35.
Then you must be able to modify the stock ones to fit right? I have seen bluemotions here with fronts but never inspected them up close.

Great as they look pants anyway

don't look as bad as stone chips down your doors though

My one and only reason that I want them!!
-
they hardly look offensive. i quite like them actually. and like i said they're really affective at stopping stone chips
just look at how the front wheels stick out wider than the doors... thats just asking for stone chips/tar/horse sh!te along the side of the car.
