Title: Mud Flaps
Post by: MBCGTI on 02 July 2012, 19:04: Does anyone know why these wouldnt fit the GTI? Im trying to look for the front ones similar to Neil GTI's ones? Does anyone happen to know the part number?

Fitting them is a doddle, just take the wheels off to get better screwdriver access.

they definitely work and i would recommend fitting them. i fitted just the fronts. i don't like the look of the rear ones but the fronts are pretty subtle IMO.

Do you happen to know the ED35 part number for the front flaps? I've been trying to find them but the spare parts guys at VW here (not UK) can't find anything on the ED35.

Then you must be able to modify the stock ones to fit right? I have seen bluemotions here with fronts but never inspected them up close.

just look at how the front wheels stick out wider than the doors... thats just asking for stone chips/tar/horse sh!te along the side of the car.
