what are peoples views on mk3,s fitted with a Heckblende? just been scanning american ebay and was thinking a smoked one may look ok?
just want to no if anybody has one fitted or anything

I reckon if you got onecn didn't like it you could shift it on pritty quickly

yeah im not to sure. would have to red one like this ebay link. didnt realise they are made by hella.
would use m3 style rear ligths and use some red tint film on the area below the black strip on the light to mach the red line perfectly.

i wouldnt want all red rears as the line wouldnt be strait. i like the way they have done it on the white one where the top part of the light isnt red so the line of red is constant.

would also have to do the plastic strip the boot lock is in. cant remember what its called. i can go to my old work and vinyl wrap it red then use refective clear vinyl on to to mach it in.

i have a feeling this is one of them things that look good in pics but once you fit one to your car you realise it looks cack :grin:
if i was to fit one i think i maye put a couple of washers between my lights and the body to bring the lights out just a touch as the thickness of them looks like it stands proud abit

I wouldn't do that. You won't creat a seal. Better off get 2 or 3 light seals to pack it out. Even then I think the bolts will be to short.

I looked at getting on of these a couple of years ago, but just couldn't justify the price of it!

Ive seen it with all red rears and it didn't really work due to the lights being so pink,
Works well with CL lights though.

I was thinking before, what the f**k is a heckblende :laugh:
They could look good for that american look but over here with dark colour paint jobs they just look plain sh!te!
