Hello everyone what is the correct / recommended gap for these plugs?

I usually have mine at about .8mm with no problems.

how the...do you measure the gap with plugs, sorry thick as poo here and i reckon this could be one of my  problems

most new plugs dont need setting up? also alot of the gti plugs are 3 prong aswell..... but think it is a must to get main dealer plugs they r 10 times better quality.

hmmmm mine are only one pronged and i think  they are crap maybe time for a change whats the reccomended for a 87 16v

Triple electrode plugs are pre gapped and are long life, I prefer the single ones :laugh:.

ive never run singles in my mk2 8v but the jap cars i used ot run i always ran singles... what singles are there for mk2's??? if it was turbo'd it would require a different plug but on a semi standard car or mildly tuned the oe ones are good plugs...

Use the single electrode version of the triple electrode plug, 
BP6ET=triple
BP6ES=single
I use a plug that is one grade cooler on my turbo.
