right, im wondering would vw montreal 1's fit straight onto my mk3? its a gti? cheers.
also does any have any idea what these wheels are?

yeah, i thought they were comps, but i searched for them and couldn't find, might have another look. Ah sweet, thinking of getting some montreals. quite nice for standard wheels.

I have some Monty 1's if ya want em, wheels are straight with no curbing but need paint, £50 there yours  :wink:

Never ended up putting them on my 3 mate but the size and offset etc work With the right tyres, won't go anywhere near a 3 with the mk4 tyres. Will be coming to Northampton some time in the next 4 weeks if you want em, if not no worries  :cool:

have you got any pics of them? this might sound a bit stupid but whats the difference between the tyres? i'm only 20 mins away from northampton, so that's not bad. but would you be coming in the week or weekend? i work through the week till 6

Mk4 size tyres are 205/55/16's but for a mk3 you need 205/45/16

the profile. the mk4 has 55 and the mk3 has 45

Wheel arches are larger on Mk4's, even on Mk3.5 Cabrio's.

Mk4's will take 18" wheels with ease and R32's take 19"
