hello, can anyone recommend a good tuning service? I'm in west sussex and I've phoned around a few mobile tuning service companies, anything from 30 pounds for standard tuning, up to 45 for a crypton type.... Is it worth the extra money for crypton? As far as I can tell the bloke has a computer and software that ensures optimum engine performance, and you get a print out for your extra cash. Any advice from the huge pool of knowledge here??

8v or 16v?
I had my 16v crpton tuned and it was worse! then i found a 16v specialist, just tuned it with a screw driver allen key and his finely tuned eras :) runs better than ever now!
You need to clean all the breather and air hoses out and the throttle housing also

find a VW specialist in your area to set it up. most crypton tuning monkies havent got a clue what they are doing
