Dear Sir / Madam,

Re: Position ********* Reference No. *********

The job above advertised, I have no offshore experience at this moment in time, but have all the relevant courses ready to get offshore as soon as possible, such as BOSIET, MIST and an offshore medical all with many years’s left till expiry.
You can understand how difficult it is to get offshore without any experience but I am a keen learner and can be available when ever needed, situated 30 minutes from Gatwick and 1 hour from London Heathrow travel links to Aberdeen, and Norwich are in close distances to me.

I am currently employed which I need to give 2 weeks’ notice for, but please get in contact at your earliest opportunity to discuss this opportunity/role/position further to eliminate any possible job losses.

Yours faithfully

feel free to critise, advise or just plain take the piss

The Position above advertised, I have currently no offshore experience at this point in time, but all the relevant courses I will be progressing towards and hopefully provide me with a better insight into offshore working. The current courses which I will be studying are BOSIET, MIST and other relevant offshore medical practice, all with many years’ left till expiry? (This does not make sense?)
I fully understand how difficult it is to get offshore experience, but I am a quick learner and can be readily available whenever the situation is required, I’m based in Sussex, 30 minutes from Gatwick and 1 hour from London Heathrow with travel links to Aberdeen, and Norwich via the motorways networks.

I am currently employed which I need to provide 2 weeks’ notice for leaving, but I hope to hear from you in the future to discuss this great opportunity/role/ enabling to further my career.

Yours faithfully

Thats a quick edit as I do not know exactly what you want to comunicate on this?

It started as a negative, but ended up with a positive no point in hiding it.
You are honest and to the point!
Its not insulting the person who reads the whole CV and clearly can see you have no experience, but willing to do something about it
Thats IMO though reading it

Personal Information

Use this to flesh out why you’re great for this role. I don’t want to know if you go banger racing, skydiving or base-jumping, unless you’re going to be teaching/taking part in these things as part of your career. Risky activities are not good as an employer – they may mean unexpected time off and work problems. I once also saw someone mention that they were a member of the Migraine Sufferers Association. Professional suicide should be avoided, folks.

this has really stumpted me

Personal Profile

I am 21 years of age and have gained a lot of experience in the domestic plumbing and heating trade. I consider myself to be a very goal orientated person and passionate in everything I do I always want to succeed. I’m always looking for new goals and targets to achieve. I’m always willing to learn new things and gain more knowledge in what I am doing and do not mind attending courses to gain more experience. I can work well with groups as well on my own. I consider myself flexible and feel I can step up to a challenge or a problem presented to me.

Have a look on monster there are different cvs on there for different roles. Could be quite helpful

I am a goal orientated instead of I consider myself...

'I'm always' used twice, I'd probably use I am rather than I'm. And the 'always' isn't needed.

Also,I work well in a team as opposed to I can...and same with last sentence.

I am by no means an expert, just read it out aloud and see if it sounds ok. Also this replay may not make much sense as done on iPhone.

Good spot repetition is never any use in CV.
I can't stand reading words twice as its writting what you think, as you go along!
