changed wheels and now the airbag light is staying on.
I did leave battery connected if that makes a difference. Can't see why it would though.
anyone had this problem? Couldn't see anything in the search.
help me  I hate having problems
-
i had the smae problem, so i just unplugged the airbag light  went thru mot fine
-
not a option for me, I don't like that idea.
is there no way of getting it off then?
-
i dont know tbh, didnt really look into it. unplugging it was only a temp fix... that i never got round to sorting
-
did you disconnect your battery after?
-
Clear the code and it should be fine, it will be because you left the battery connected.
-
Cool will have to take it somewhere. I've took the battery out to charge overnight hopefully it will go when I put it back in, doubt it though
-
Sod disconnecting the airbag whilst it's still connected to the battery.

Knocked that fireman on his a$$! Don't appreciate how powerful air bags are as they are a "safety" feature

Got to you safely then mate? How'd the fitting go? And yeah, you of disconnected battery but to clear it just get it on VAGCOM, surely you know someone?
-
Tbh honest it was a walk in the park
Yeah I know a few people that can sort that for me.
Cheers dude

Glad it went okay mate, I found a little bit of tweaking with the 3 screws attaching to the back was needed but overall simple enough.
Mind you, f**k not having the battery disconnected, the thought of it going off in my face scares the sh!t out of me.

I've fitted a mk4 wheel in mine, only problem is that every now and again the horn will go off randomly when turning the wheel. Any ideas?
