Title: MK6 GTI 2010
Post by: pearly on 30 June 2012, 06:30
Hi all

My nearly 2 year old GTI have been diagnosed with a high pressure fuel pump failure ( stuttering under high load ), has anyone had this done, and is it a common fault?

I have a 2010 GTI which is used to take me and the family away most weekend to the holiday home. This means the car is fully loaded up. Never had or heard of your problem. Also not a problem I have read on the forum.

Had a squeal sound which turn out to be the clutch plate. This is a common fault the garage told me. Was fixed under warranty quickly.

I think he means when he's putting his foot down not when he's got weight in the boot?

Completely different engines and pumps, totally unrelated :)
