Title: new turbo help

right got a new re conditioned k03s wooo! but i wobbled the intake side and you can feel it all moving inside and it touches the sides now i have felt it when it got sent away knowing it was f**ked and my k03 atm is f**ked and all three feel the same now im slightly confused as i swear turbos run really tight until they wear out can someone help!!

ooh ok then it doesnt go in and out just moves up and down i just thought that they wouldnt do that ??

If its a new rebuilt unit , it will move more than you think it should. Until its had full oil pressure in it then the bearings won't have settled. If its been properly balanced then when it spins it will do it in plane with the shaft, no wobble and won't touch the housings. Don't sweat sure it'll be fine

i've got a genuine k04-001 and it has slight side to side play, it's normal :)

ah didnt thinkf that lol just cost a fair amount to fix so i dont want it going bang first time i have seen a new/rebuilt turbo lol

mate a k03 agu will take a straight swap to fit a k03s wont it ?? i have all the gaskets and washers in a kit i bought

ebay but havent seen any again all the gaskets and washers i have taken off so fair have match and all i gotta take off next is the down pipe

fook, that's expensive.

at the moment, i have those 3 gaskets, syringe,

7 bolts and nuts. i assume this is for the downpipe>turbo(4) and turbo>manifold(3).

this is what else i need on the list (I think?)..

056 103 377       (washers x 4)
N 013 812 8       (oil feed pipe washers x 2)
N 013 814 9       (water pipe washers x 4)
N 014 702 13     (oil return bolts x 2)
058 145 791      (washers x 3)

this sound about right?  :undecided:

To be honest that's more than me lol I only really have washers and gasket for the turbo itself
