What do I need to sort this? I'm guessing some kind of bushes, but I don't have a clue what? Anyone had this problem before who can point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Really? I thought it was all in the title to be honest.
One of the doors, on my three door VW Mk2 Golf GTI, is sagging. What do I need to fix it?
-
Could be any one of about 4 different issues.
Open your door half way, grab hold of the top of the frame and door handle, and lift the door in a up and down motion, if the door has any play, then its most likely the hinge pins need replacing... in extreme cases the hinge mounting points could be rotten, allowing the hinge its self to move... check these areas first

I had to have the bracket rewelded on my old mk2 as it had came away

Haha i do try

I was told by a MK2 "specialist" body shop that when a door started dropping there was feck all you can do - Based on the basic assumption that both body and door hinges were intact and not moving...
So are you saying that you can knock out the door hinge pin on the door and replace it?

Unbolt door, place carefully on some sort of table/tressel... Then using a heavy drift and hammer, knock the lower pin, in an upwards direction, and the upper pin in a downwards direction, then replace with these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOLF-MK1-GTI-MK2-CABRIO-CADDY-DOOR-HINGE-PINS-GENUINE-/251012671218?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a718566f2#ht_1480wt_960

No worries, we aim to please
Sometimes... the pin can be difficult to remove, this is usually because the hinge gets hung up on the worn pin, try rotating the hinge into different angles to bypass the worn section, and use lots of WD40
These pins/hinges can also be converted to "Roll pin" type if the OE ones are not available, iirc they are 8mm and are a straight swap for the original item...

Are those pins what you can see on the door frame? My door seems to be wobbling from where the bottom strut attaches (inside) the door.

The pins are the pivot point of the hinge, they run north to south, though the center of the hinge...
feel for excessive movement, by holding the hinge, while a helper lifts and drops the door.
