Title: MK3 MORETTE HEADLIGHT LENSES
Post by: arran.concept on 29 June 2012, 15:52
Ive recently removed my Morette headlights due to poor visability, ive been told this is due to the lenses being poorly. Does anyone know much about these lights and help me improve the lighting quality they put out? thanks

could you not give them a big clean inside and out? toothpaste is good for this if u wanna do it on the cheap. then upgrade your bulbs.

You'll find the reflective backing on the inner bowl has peeled its a common. Fault with morrette units

You may need to warm the lenses up to break the seal on them for removal.
Stick some Osram nightbreaker plus or Philips Xtreame bulbs in then upgrade the headlight loom.
