Hi all,
I was changing the engine oil today and noticed some oil spray around a drive shaft:

The rubber gaiter around the driveshaft seems loose, what do I need to replace here? anyone else had this problem?
also will this be gearbox oil I'm losing? If so, I will top up the oil urgently. Or is it just grease?
- I have located the top-up hole. Is there a way to check the current level?

Wont be gearbox oil.
Cant remember if the cv gaitor has a clip at that end or not :undecided:

thanks,
yeah I read here that the driveshafts are sealed:

(last but one post).
I looked at the other driveshaft, and although there is no visible clip, the gaiter is fixed firm, where as this one slides about!
Any idea how to fasten it? I could just try a jubilee I guess....

or just use a zip tie around it and see how it goes
