My mate recently bought one, 54 plate, 180 model, 17" standard, 6 speed, and much more comfy interior than my MK4.....£1800

Im seriously thinking of upgrading to Cupra R.  Another of my friends has one (225) and its in a different league.

I'm loving the new supercopa edition of the FR+ but thnk it's a bit overpriced for all that's different is the bodykit.

there not as good quality as the golf but you do get more bang for your buck. if you can go for the cupra r there alot better than the cupra

inferior quality to the gti undoubtedly.  If it's only horsepower you are looking, there are a lot more better options than the cupra at its price.  if it's an all-rounder you are after, combining power and quality, then it's the gti for me
