just wondering what the milages are on our cars and who could have the highest,,,,mines a candy white 5 door 2005 with 69556,,,,,how good is this engine

My mate Deano has nearly 100k miles on his car; was remapped at 90k and still going like a train   :smiley:

05 GTI 69k so far so good (touch wood).

Chuff isn't wrong. Some pettyful mileage figures here lads. Mine had a year off the road and still manages a half decent figure. Come on, pull your fingers out :D

i have just been to look at a 2005 GTI at a VW dealer and it only had 24000 miles on the clock, going back for a test drive next week, it was too late today, even though their website said they shut at 5pm they closed at 4pm. was cracking car though, one lady owner since new and supplied and serviced by this VW dealer, she traded it in and bought exactly the same but a MK6, my only concern is it has a DSG gearbox and i have never drove one so will need to have a good long test drive next week.

Just bought my 05 gti dsg with 48148. In a week i got that up by 400 ish miles :)  Its starting to some cam chain rattley though :(

My GTI DSG 55 plate has 46K with full VW service history.
Always wanted one, so took me a while to find her.
