Title: scraping/crunching noise?
Post by: mrsaunders on 28 June 2012, 17:39
getting a strange noise in my drivers footwell (something feels loose aswell like a slight wobble/knock sound)
its making a random crunching/scraping which i can only describe as the sort of sound that you hear when someone forgets to use the clutch but quieter,
it does it in gear, out of gear, goin round corners, going straight and even braking, i jacked it up for a quick look and the drive shafts/tie rods were fine, sorry to ramble on, any ideas?

yeah i was starting to think along the lines of the sway bar, mainly does it turning right though so i really thought a track rod but cant see anything wrong with them
