I'm pretty sure you should go see your local dealership. They can supply you with all of the above info if you give them a call...At least I think they should be able to

his blocked messages oh well bite the bullit and a trip to vw's which i think is going to be a waste of time, i think all i will get from them is a part number and not the number i need thats inside fob, i will persist with this im sure i will get there in the end though.

been told to look for a ccm module on drivers side footwell if its got a code of 1CO 959 799 it wont run remote locking, but if its 1CO 969 799 B then it will and guy can give me serial numbers and frequency code for a fob, i thought all the golf gti's had remote locking but seems im wrong, i so hope i have the right module or maybe its possible to change the module and have remote locking that way have to see what happens i suppose, see if i get a spare 5 mins tomorrow and confirm which module i have fingers crossed its the right one i think i do as i have problems with my alarm going off and im sure its because my car has remote locking and key wont turn it off, had this problem on our old ford galaxy untill we got a remote key for that so im hoping will get remote locking and sort out alarm problem, its a pain having to put key in ignition to stop alarm going off.
