Iv read about people using heat guns on their bumpers and other fadded trim, can anyone tell me what the Technic is thanks

Thanks dragonfly watched the clip, and after reading some of the others tried shoe polish and they look good. Now to see how long it lasts?

I guess that would depend on whether you add some good quality trim sealant, like Gtechniq C4 or similar.

Think I'll have try and borrow a heat gun and see what happens

Sold the car a few months ago so not sure how long it would last....it's was sold a few months after I done it ....to be honest it looked permanent....they were very grey but and went black as you can see from the video...touch up with ur gel of choice if you want them shiny but I was very happy with the results...had been using shoe polish upto that point....no damage to paint work either...
