Title: rear wiper delete
Post by: cullygti on 27 June 2012, 11:13: hi guys wheres the best place to get a rear window blanking plug dont want a cheap rubber one..... either glass or acrylic and cheapest of course cheers guys :smiley:

seen this one anyone used this

cheep that the only place ive seen apart from ebay selling them were some german site and were about £15 plus p+p!!!

Edit that was the site, must have just reduced there price over the last year or two

Nope, no glue. Bit of black silicone and you'll be fine. I'd say the whole job only took about a half hour. Well worth it too, it cleans the back up well.

Post by: GTi_James on 27 June 2012, 19:05: i think if you ask nicely Mercedes can offer up a shatter proof varient to match but it cost in the region of £30-£40 almost not worth just get the one on the ebay link you've posted and get the VW badge engraved on it? mate has a similar one and looks good with a smoothed tailgate
