hey guys i have a 1.6 AAE and i think the radiator is on its last legs,
the question is if i get a double fan set up and all that jazz, am i going to have problems or is it going to be plug and play ??

Why go through all the hassle of buying a more expensive setup if it's going to be of no benefit?

The system it currently has is more than enough to cool it. You could look at possibly a 16v/vr6 radiator which has more cores. Not sure if the bolt holes are the same though.

Would you not then run the risk of overcooling and the resultant increase in fuel consumption?

No because the thermostat will control it.

Fair enough but i think it would be better to fit the correct replacement for the car.
