How much am i looking at for a good TDI? I need to start to save up for one so need a clue of how much i need to save lol :)

A friend of mine just sold his full spec (just not recaros) GTTDI 130PD for £2.6k on gaybay. Heated leathers, sparky windows, cruise control, arm rest, climate control... :wink:
Just don't buy one that eats its own cams! :laugh:

Lets not go in to this debate unless you have concrete evidence that there is a problem with the 150's. Mine has done 126k now with no signs of wear. Perhaps I am just a 'lucky' one. *Touch wood*

All the horror stories you hear are related to the 150's although the 130's do have exactly the same cam....was speaking to a mate of mine the other day and his mechanic mate has changed a couple recently

my pd150 chewed the cam up at 127k and the car has full vw service history from factory

Read a few posts about 130 cams going on a few different forums now seems to just take a little longer.
