Hey guys, I'm soon to be purchasing first Golf Mk4 and my first car for that matter.
I plan on doing some nice things with this car, but the very first thing I want to do once I've bought her is to replace the indoor speakers, my budget is around £150-200 (for all 4 speakers).
I'm new to cars so there a few things I'll need to know, do I need any special tools? (anything else but a phillips, allen key set and a trusty hammer for when things go wrong :P), do I need to get a certain size of speakers? will I need an adapter kit of some kind? Will I certain type of head unit for certain types of speakers?
Can anyone recommend any decent speakers?
Thank in advance guys :)

DLS all the way. Probably blow your budget on just the fronts though.

cheers man. Any special tools needed?
I was looking at these?

DLS look pretty expensive, but if they're worth it I'll happily spend the money.

Nothing special needed. DLS are absolutley amazing, not all that well known by the Sony, Infinity or Alpine users, but I bought some for my Mk2 and was totally blown away.
I had their 7x10s in the rear and people thought I had a sub. I had 6.5" components up front with cross overs in the doors. They're stonking speakers.
