Hi guys after somemore know hows :) want to change my brake/clutch fluid could some one talk me through it please :) have read so many ways on how and not to do it im confused :(

One man method that works for me is
Start with rear passenger side caliper.
Find a pint glass fill 1/3 up with fresh fluid.
Stick a clear plastic tube from nipple to glass. Make sure the plastic tube is fully submerged into the pint glass.
This insures that no return air goes back up the tube.
Crack open up the nipple.
As you top up the resivor, press brake pedel about three to four times (allways checking resivor) never letting the fluid to fall bellow low levels. You will see smaller bubbles flow down the clear tube thats okay!
Keep repeating until you have gone through about 1 litre of fluid on all four corners.
Remember to tighten each nipple up tight after each bleed as some people forget and you have to start over again.
By the time you have done three calipers the pedel should start to firm up as you go along.
Job done!

^ that way or eeze Bleed kit from halfords.
You will find you have bad brakes after but you need to keep bleeding them. Takes forever!

Great advice Jay, my only thoughts are, if the OP hasn't bled brakes before, what would he do if any of the bleed nipples sheared off! It could easily turn into a nightmare...

True I've always used plus gas on them first leave for half an hour!
But I've never used anything else than a ring spanner which has full contact with the nipple this does not round!
If its not budging I use a small rubber mallet to tap it anti clock wise to free it up!
Another top tip stick a rag around the resivor garanteed you will have spilage on the wing area!
If the nipple snaps off?
Never happens to me by the way I either buy a new caliper if its in very bad condition, or take it off to be helicoiled for a new nipple.

You may need to use an easy bleed kit. I had trouble once bleeding the brakes on my car. I was just expanding and compressing the air trapped in there and not moving it. I resorted to having to pressurize the master cylinder reservoir to get it all moving. So much easier with an easy bleed kit which does exactly that.

this to me is the easiest for one man bleeding, albeit expensive, ( but if you use it as much as me its worth it  )
simply fill up, screw the cap on, pump it up and open the bleed nipple, no pumping of pedal, no worrying about air going back in. Sorted
