Title: What colour engine bay.

Got my engine stripped out ready for my 20v lump going in.

Chassis legs and around strut tops need painted. Despite being smothered in wax... Bulkhead too, keeping bulkhead black but unsure on the rest.

Black or stay colour coded??? Keep changing my mind  :rolleyes:

I would stick with black.

Depends what your engine will look like and what's staying in the bay? If your going for show look, super clean and chrome, then I would do candy colour, silver or something. If your keeping it OEM then black all the way!

i was thinking this the other day when decided to do the engine change.

but seeing as im having it done in a week then wont really be able to smooth it etc.
so going down the light wire tuck look, standard colour engine bay and having a complete black engine!

already bought a remapped/unlocked ecu for £75! :D hah

i should really get the car in for paint etc rather than spend money on a totally new audio set up and engine! lol

The trim was done by junior at MJ interiors, the final bill came to about £5500, every single thing inside is covered in leather though.
