Title: How Easy Is It To Dye Leather Seats?

Just a query, this. I know it's not actual VW but my Midas needs some seats & I've decided on some Mk1 MX5 seats. Leather would be nice, and I'd like black, but practically the only ones I've seen are tan ones, and I want black.

Can anyone recommend a dye kit? Are they easy to use? And do I need to take the seats apart (i.e covers off) or can I just dye them as they are? Or should I just buy some cloth seats instead?

Check out the furniture clinic kits. I've seen some really good results with these and will use one myself when I get the chance.
