Post by: inggti on 24 June 2012, 21:12
Ok u all now the Robles I've had especially topher. Well I've only been hitting 14psi. Well today I've been hitting and holding 19/20. I found out y. The pipe that comes off the side of n75 to the metal pipe off top of turbo had split straight off. Web I re connected it I was bak to 13/14 psi. Is the n75 has it

If I read it right, he is saying that he was hitting 19-20psi, now his turbo is hitting 14psi. He had a look around and found a split pipe that goes from TIP to n75. He has replaced it but it is still only peaking 14psi. Could this be a n75 at fault or something else?

My AGU on stage 1 map with R-tech peaks 14 psi 1st and 2nd gear with no load on engine Ie on flat roads.
But then peaks 16-18psi under load (Steep hill)
The rest of the gears peak 20psi then drop off between 16-18psi.

If that helps

14-16psi and holding is about right for a stage 1 map

What engine and you scanned for faults?

So you were only getting 14psi, then all of a sudden you were getting 19/20, then you found a split pipe, fixed it, now its gone back down to 14 pst again?  thats a bit confusing mate.  Try rewording, dont really make sense?

Have you checked for any other leaks?  do you have access to VAGCOM?

His scanned it no codes, the engine is an AGU and I think he had 19/20, then it dropped to 14/15, he found the pipe and replaced it but boost is not back to 19/20, its still at 14/15.

I'd guess there's still a leak somewhere, but maybe not big enough for a fault to throw up... or another idea which seems more feasible as its stage 2 is weak actuator on the turbo could be the culprit!

Before pipe problem id only hit 14. But wen pipe snapped off I was hitting 19/20 and holding. But it would jolt as if it over boosting. And I used Mitty vac to test actuator and it doesn't lose any pressure
